Happy Halloween

Hello to all!  I am currently taking a break from tearing down all of our Halloween decore from around our house.  This makes me so sad because I love Halloween -- not as much as Ava does though. This year was such a blast! 

Ava the elephant was all about her costume this year!  She knew exactly what she was and how to make the elephant sound. 

As the day began so did Ava's sugar rush.  We started the day out with a healthy kit kat bar for breakfast followed up by sugar cookies at her daycare party for lunch and why not add a little more sugar for dinner ... Mmm cherry suckers! 

Ava and her friend max shared their first trick or treating experience together and it was for sure the best site ever to see! 

Thankfully, and I honestly have no idea how, Ava was passed out by 8:30! :)

Just in time for the switch whitch to visit!

It's a girl! Again!

Baby Mulford #2 is a GIRL! 

We are over the moon excited about the results of our ultrasound!! I will be honest though, I think it took both Tyler and I a minute to grasp that taking about a little brother for Ava was only just talking.  Those darn blue paint colors kept catching my eye! 

So PINK it is! Again! Woohoo! 

Thank you to all of our friends and family who celebrated with us!  We are very blessed! 

Fall around here

Eeeeekkkkk!!!! Bring out the oversized sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spiced lattes!  I am obsessed with this time of year and can not wait for all of the holidays to arrive! 

We took Ava to her first St Louis Cardinals game last weekend (NL Champs!!) it was a good time but we were happy to be home after being out of town for a couple of days. 

Everyone in the Mulford house is excited for Halloween this year! Ava's costume is the cutest. We can't wait to share pictures with everyone. :) 

Round Two

As most of you already know... We are so excited to announce baby number two! Due March 2014! 

Now, I know I am only 19 weeks along but man ... How many weeks do I have left!?  Everything is so much different this time around. With Ava all I wanted or I should say all I could eat was milk and cereal. This time its nothing but pepperoni pizza. Breakfast. Lunch, and dinner. No joke! 

With fall right around the corner I am trying to come up with a fun gender reveal idea. Any suggestions?

Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!! We hope you had fun filled day and night! As Ava gets older, faster and wiser I thought our day was never going to end. -- I was ready for bed at 6pm! -- 

We started our day off with the coralville parade ... 

 

Followed by no nap .. We played in the pool at the cabin... 

Climbed in and out and in and out of this chair 100 times ...

Went for a boat ride down the Iowa river... 

And last but not least spent the weekend in Galena celebrating a friends wedding ..

It was also Tyler's birthday over the holiday weekend, we decided a little sunshine and a boat ride was the perfect way to celebrate! Cheers to 26 doll! Love you :)

Happy Fathers Day Weekend

Happy Fathers Day to all of the dads out there! Ava and I were lucky to be able to share this day with one truly amazing guy! 

Ava started the day off by jumping up and down on Tyler yelling DAD DAD DAD NOSE EYES ELBOW DAD DAD !! Once our house was awake we packed our bags and headed to the Des Moines Zoo! 

What's that you ask? Yep, they went for a ride on the camel. Ha! Tyler is still amazed that this camel weighed 2000lbs. Okay, I kind of am too. 

After those damn goats stole the cup of food I was going to feed them right from my hand in the matter of a second, Ava and I posed for a photo. 

Awe, too cute. Seriously though. Adorable. 

 

Well we ended our Father's Day with some cosmic bowling and a water park .. Needless to say it was a very fun and much needed day :) cheers!! 

Sweet Summertime

Hello and happy summer to all of you :) I can't believe how busy we have been already this summer! Ava is almost 18 months going on 18 years! This little girl is a wild child and always keeps me on my toes...

I wish I could understand her language that she throws my way all day long... although I can understand most of her words I still can't wrap my head around some of them. 

We are currently in the early stages of potty training because little miss Ava thinks its ok to go número dos and then pull it out of her diaper to show me what she's done. Ewww. Gross. Ugh...
